Simply Sewn || Felt Gingerman by Onel

Everybody welcome back our sewing girly Onel -- She has a treat for you today!

Hi there, friends of the Nest! I'm back with another simple sewing tutorial to share with you today :) Christmas is just one month away and we are just at the right time to make this little gingerman to brighten up your Christmas decorations. You can make a lot of them with different facial expressions and I promise it will only take less than 15 minutes to make one. Are you with me? Then let's jump to the tutorial!

What you need:

1. Brown, white and red felt;
2. Cotton/polyfil for filling;
3. Buttons;
4. Needle & thread;
5. Scissors;
6. Glue.

Step 1: Cut two pieces of brown human-shaped felt of the same size.

Step 2: Decorate one of them with felt icing ;) and buttons.

And you'll get something like this.

Step 3: Insert your filling in between the two pieces of felt and sew them together.

And you'll get this fluffy gingerman.

Step 4: If you would like to hang it as Christmas tree's ornament, cut a piece of small felt, fold into two and glue it at the back of the head.

Step 5: Give it a muffler to keep it warm :)
