Garden and Bug Week -- Frogs

Like I said earlier this week, garden week just means normal week in this house.

Today's discovery?

FROGS.

...or toads maybe...

Over the course of Mommy Camp, I learned an old lesson.  The kids are happiest when they are catching bugs, coloring the sidewalk and tormenting a poor frog (toad).  No matter how much effort I put into crafts, activities and art projects -- the favorites were still the adventures that THEY cooked up.  

The lesson?  The garden is the best teacher.  Especially when I take a step back.

Poor frog.  

I hate that he is the textbook.

He was rescued at naptime.  I said he "escaped".
